The graphic below shows the proportion of women and men representing each Member State at all Council meetings in 2023. Finland was the only Member State represented by more women than men in Council meetings. The share of women among German and Lithuanian representatives was close to 50 %, and exceeded 45 % for Sweden and Belgium. The proportion of women remained below 20 % for Greece, Estonia and Denmark, and less than 10 % for Czechia and Italy.
