All Member States have included investments in their NRRPs to support smart and sustainable transport. The largest contribution in absolute terms comes from Italy, which dedicates €34 053.1 million to this area – representing 41 % of the total funding allocated to smart and sustainable mobility across all national plans. Spain follows with €9 936 million (12 %), and Germany with €7 588.3 million (9.1 %). The smallest allocations in absolute terms are found in Estonia (€72.6 million, 0.1 %), Finland (€98.6 million, 0.1 %) and Malta (€100.2 million, 0.1 %) (Figure 1). While these absolute figures are partly influenced by each national RRF envelope’s overall size, they also reflect the Member States’ specific investment decisions and preferences.
