Figure 6 illustrates the share of the EU’s main goods exported to the UK. Over the lifespan of the TCA, the affected sectors have fluctuated. The first six sectors listed in Figure 6 have consistently figured as the top EU goods exports to the UK. EU exports of goods to the UK continued to grow slightly and equalled €340.2 billion in 2024, a value 1.2 % higher than in 2023. The top three EU exports of goods to the UK in 2023 were mechanical appliances and electrical equipment (20.1 %), followed by vehicles and aircraft (18.6 %) and agri-food products (15.5 %). As Figure 6 shows, in 2024, the share of these three EU export goods has remained rather stable.
