En effet, le flux financier de $US 411 milliards, constitué de différents types de prêts, reste fortement concentré dans quelques pays à revenu intermédiaire (tranche inférieure ou supérieure). Les dix premiers, dont la Chine, le Brésil, le Chili et l’Inde, totalisent 64% de la dette mondiale et presque 70% de flux nets de 2012. À noter que les créditeurs privés étaient à l’origine de 383 des $US 411 milliards prêtés en 2012.
