As shown in Figure 7, €420 million of the €500 million support package will be provided to all Member States to support their dairy farmers with appropriate and targeted measures. Some 80% of the Member States’ envelopes will be allocated on the basis of Member States’ milk quotas in the past year, with the remaining 20% to be allocated taking into account criteria for those Member States which have been most
affected by the Russian ban, the fall in pig-meat prices and the summer’s drought.
Additionally, the Commission will allow Member States to provide voluntary national aid equivalent up to the allocation set out in Figure 7.
