Several state authorities have competences regarding migration and asylum, the primary ones being the Ministry of Interior’s Asylum Office, the Asylum Commission, the Administrative Court, and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration. Civil society and international organisations are also stakeholders in this domain. The Asylum Office is in charge of applying the asylum procedure, while the primary task of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, under the Migration Management Law, is the accommodation and integration of people granted asylum or subsidiary protection.
