The overall increase in support for more EU involvement in the energy supply and security policy area is 12 percentage points. This is the only policy area in which the trend of increased expectations is unanimous across all Member States. The most prominent increases are registered in the Netherlands (an increase of 22 percentage points) and Germany (increase of 21 percentage points). The least significant increases of expectations for more EU involvement in this policy are in Bulgaria (increase of 3 percentage points) and Italy (increase of 4 percentage points).
