Expectations for more EU action than at present: percentage points difference between 2016 and 2018

Despite the overall fall in the expectation for more EU action on fighting terrorism, there are some differences between Member States. The most prominent reduction in support for more EU involvement was registered in Austria (a decrease of 12 percentage points), Estonia and Italy (decrease of 10 percentage points in both countries). Increased expectation of more EU involvement in this policy was registered in Spain (increase of three percentage points), Ireland and Poland (increase of 2 percentage points in both countries) and Finland (increase of 1 percentage point).
