EU energy import dependency from Russia, Share of total import

The indicator shows how far the EU is reliant on energy imports from Russia (authors’ calculation based on Eurostat data). It represents the share of imports of gas (based on million cubic meters), coal and oil (based on thousand tonnes). The EU imports around 97 million tonnes of hard coal per year, with 44 million tonnes of that coming from Russia.
