Policies for next generation (expenditure as % of individual NRRP costs)

Figure 1 above shows the planned expenditure per Member State that has been dedicated to the said pillar. The majority of the countries are expected to invest in policies for the next generation at a level above the EU average (this being roughly 12 % of all combined NRRPs). It is worthwhile mentioning, however, that the expenditure under this pillar extends beyond education, and that the breakdown of resources between different policy areas can vary between countries.
