Breakdown of funding by component

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the recovery plan for the Dutch economy should act as a catalyst for more sustainable, smarter and more inclusive growth. In addition, it should strengthen social cohesion and make Dutch society more resilient to crises. Important goals include promoting the green transition, particularly in the energy sector, and accelerating the digital transformation. The plan addresses a significant subset of the challenges identified in the European Semester and the CSRs for the Netherlands.
The amended plan consists of 52 measures, namely 29 investments and 23 reforms grouped under eight components (see Figure 1).
